T O P I C R E V I E WALAINWhat an insanely great job ! http://people.itu.int/~meens/model/soyuz.htm MiracoliThis Soyuz Launcher even flies ! http://www.geocities.com/jbrundt2/soyuz.html PhilipInsanely great !Please also check out the Alex Panchenko website for superb Russian scale models ( METAL = the real thing ! No resin ! ); http://www.ussr-airspace.com/Site/new_site_frames.htm ace5yes. a great job, but the modeler got terribly wrong. Soyuz is in fact smaller than in the model. The docking apparatus fits below the base cone of the launch shroud. The cylindrical portion of shroud encases the entire Soyuz vehicle. The upper conical nose is free. It contanis the SAS escape tower detaching mechanism and separation rocket casings.PhilipNice remark ... but the model looks superb anyway !
